Interested in becoming an Upon This Rock

OUTREACH SPONSOR?

Outreach Sponsors provide an opportunity for people in local shelters and other community service sites to attend the  Upon This Rock performances?

At a time when our neighborhoods, our society and our nation is found facing a sense of hopelessness and worry, God has allowed the musical Passion Play, Upon This Rock, to return to center stage.  Four dynamic performances will once again be held at Pike Performing Arts Center, Indianapolis, Easter weekend.

This production vibrantly portrays the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Similar in content and integrity to other passion plays, the play brings a unique contribution by presenting the Gospel through the eyes and faces of a predominantly African-American cast.  "Upon This Rock" provides an opportunity for the audience to hear and experience the greatest story every told or lived.  Through a multi-cultural mix of Christian music, excitement and unique costuming, this production is like none other.  The audience is invited to participate in the joy of Jesus, His life, His power and His love.  The play has over 300 cast, crew and staff, representing over 65 churches throughout central Indiana.   It is our goal not only to welcome our brothers and sisters in Christ, but to also provide this unique venue as a way to win souls into the Kingdom and reclaim those who have strayed away. 

The success of our achieving this goal is greatly dependent upon sponsorship and patrons.  With that spirit, we have contacted a number of organizations serving the needs of people ranging from local homeless shelters to half-way houses for individuals struggling with addictions.  Last year  we identified over 400 individuals (Kingdom prospects!) who desired to witness the gospel story unfold.  This year we anticipate an even greater number.  Because these are service organizations, most of their participants are not financially able to purchase a ticket.  We have a felt need to gain your sponsorship to help underwrite this great evangelistic effort.

Please consider becoming a Kingdom Sponsor by purchasing some or all of the tickets for one of these groups.  Kingdom Sponsored Tickets can be purchased at a special discount rate, and will be seated on the main floor (as long as tickets are available.)  These groups will be our mutual guests at the specified performance.

If you are interested, we will mail you a list of the participating organizations.

THE PROCESS: 

1.Decide which organization you wish to sponsor (full or partial sponsorship.)

2.Decide how many tickets you wish to provide that organization.

3.Write a check for the total tickets x special amount (payable to "Upon This Rock Productions")

4.Return the check and form to Upon This Rock, PO Box 26889, Indianapolis, IN  46226, Attn: Kingdom Builders Outreach.

5.Upon This Rock Productions will notify the sponsored group of your contribution and coordinate the logistics with the selected organization for transportation to and from the performance.

We pray God's blessings over you for your heart of compassion.  We're believing that someone you sponsored will respond to the "call to discipleship" at one of the four performances.  We will notify you of any individuals (from your sponsored group) who did make a decision for Christ.

Needless to say, we are excited about this great Kingdom work, as well as an opportunity for you to sow into the hearts of men, women, boys and girls who need to see and hear what we have already seen and heard!
