Dear family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances of Kyle Guyton,

Most of us who knew Kyle can attest that in Kyle’s short life, he touched many lives. This is your chance to reach out in Kyle’s name and touch others, encouraging them to take up the mantle and carry on Kyle’s legacy. As the Rev. Harrison so poignantly stated during Kyle’s celebration of life services; “Get some rest Kyle, we’ll take it from here”.

It is the committee’s goal to honor Kyle’s memory by awarding scholarships to students attending a post-secondary college or university with a major in the Arts, and who meet the criteria set forth by Kyle, for himself and for his students. In order to achieve this goal, we have chosen to invite the people who knew and worked with Kyle, who appreciated the gifts he brought to his church, his productions, and his students.  In addition, we welcome those who had not the privilege of knowing him but certainly embrace the vision and legacy he leaves behind.
