Pending Technical To Do’s

Note: this is our first time using a live band in the room. Vital that we go thru a complete sound check with band, soloists, ensemble and dancers Tuesday rehearsal!

  1. Sound

    1. Band (positioned stage left on platform behind drape)

      1. Pastor Hill confirming time all band members will be present and equipment in place DONE

      2. PJ will be using Streams drum kit & shield (can remain in place - no use on Easter Sunday svc) DONE

      3. Brandon will be using Streams keyboard (need to make sure back in place for Easter Sun svc) DONE

      4. Setup & add Fred (guitar) to mix

    2. Soloists (note: soloists will use lavs for speaking and handheld mic for singing.

      1. Need to determine how to move the handheld from singer to singer if they will be singing and exiting with mic behind cross or panels

      2. Note: Cast to drop chains downstage vs at cross

    3. Ensemble (9 vocals positioned stage right on platform - behind drape)

    4. Voiceover mic (who and where will voiceover person be positioned). Pastor Hill to perform voiceovers backstage. Need quiet area backstage.

    5. Need to assign a backstage mic volunteer (assign to Heather - stage assistant)

  2. Lighting

    1. Tim considering another person to handle lights

    2. Tim working with lighting and cast blocking Wednesday

    3. Panels programmed to light up during opening Act I as cast speaks behind them.

  3. Carpet for decks (installed Wednesday )

  4. Confirmed letters for panels (Adultery, Lust, Theft, Murder). Opposite side: SET FREE!

    1. Arrive and applied by Wednesday rehearsal

    2. Cover for legs/feet of 4 panels

    3. Handle grip for panels (turn easy)

    4. Balance stand and wheels on panels

  5. Complete color panels for cross and backlight

  6. Need 5 sets of steps for decks (2 on both ends and 1 in the middle)

    1. Arrive and in place for We’d rehearsal

  7. Pipe & Drape (along walls) with accent lights

    1. Arrive and setup Wednesday

  8. Side-fill audio monitors along walls in the hall

    1. Install day?

  9. Video floor monitor

    1. Checking to see if necessary. Original intended use for soloists. May not need.

  10. Music and special audio effects tracks (Brandon will control from laptop)

    1. Soloist selections (5)

    2. Dance selections (2)

    3. Other special audio effects

  11. Video

    1. Tim to setup camera to record (possibly Livestream - Pastor & Tim to confirm)

  12. Photography

    1. Pastor to assign volunteer

  13. WIFI

    1. Tim installing extenders in key areas in hall (also need one in the lobby)

  14. Addtl note: Finalize where Sharon and Heather will be positioned (calling show and cue support for Tim G)

    1. Sharon calling show w Tim from sound booth

    2. Final edits to script w cues (Sharon/Pastor)

    3. Heather backstage assist (along with Pastor Hill - can assist until time to perform @ end of performance)

    4. Determine communication between Sharon, Tim, Brandon and Heather

    5. Finalize curtain call (Sharon)
