Date/Time: Saturday, March 23, 2024 . 2pm-4:30pm

Location: The Streams Church . 3425 Boulevard Place

Cast Arrival Time: 11:00am for sound check and fine-tuning selections. Upon arrival you will receive a wristband. To control flow, there will be 4 distinct colored bands designating: VIP patrons, general patrons, choir/SV/dancers, and volunteers.

All non-cast members arriving with you must remain in the lobby or lower level during sound check. They will be permitted to enter sanctuary at 1pm with other patrons provided they have a ticket and has been scanned with wristband.

Parking:

In order to provide adequate parking for our ticketed patrons, all Cast and Volunteers will park on the lot of Mt Zion Baptist Church (one block north on Boulevard). Drivers should drop off riders @ The Streams and proceed to Mt Zion lot. A van will shuttle you back to the Streams. You are also welcome to park along the street on Boulevard and 34th Street. There will be security monitoring both lots.

Attire:

Choir & Stage Vocals will wear pastel tops (shirts & blouses) and black bottoms. Come dressed in your attire.

Holding Areas:

Choir & Stage Vocals (lower level)

Sanctuary doors open at 1pm for patrons. Participants should make their way to the holding area by 1pm. No one should be in the front lobby area. Use the back stairwell which leads directly down to lower level and directly up to back of pulpit platform throughout performance. We will run through the flow Saturday when you arrive.

Guest soloists (not singing with choir) will initially join everyone in lower level for prayer and then be seated on front pew north (nearest parking lot).

Stage vocals will join choir on first selection (Celebrate the King) and then exit pulpit to lower level holding area until the last song in first half (High Praise), then back to holding area. A livestream will be setup on lower level screen to view event. Light refreshments will also be provided for stage vocals after their second and final selection.

At 12pm, all participants should use the single door entrance marked “Cast” and not the double doors off parking lot (next to ramp). Patrons only should be using those doors.

Dancers

Will dress in 2nd floor rooms behind pulpit platform marked “Dancers”. Your holding area will be in the 1st floor room also marked “Dancers”.

Note: Patrons will tour the lower level UTR venue space between 12pm and 1pm. Light refreshments will be served during that time for our patrons only. Once sanctuary doors open, they will retreat to main level to get their seat. Choir, stage vocals and dancers will move to lower level for prayer and final prep at 1pm.

Ticket Scanners, Ushers & Lobby Flow

Pastor Carol is the House Manager and the “go to” with overall direction and questions regarding flow of patrons, merchandise sales, and box office.

Toni Wheatley and Garry Thomas will also be assisting Pastor Thomas, Pastor Carol and Pastor Sharon as needed.

Any issues or questions should be directed to the appropriate ones for resolve.

Ticket scanner volunteers will be located in the lobby at the main front doors and side double doors on both sides of lobby to scan tickets as patrons enter. One person scans and another places wristbands. A brochure should be given to each patron once scanned. At-the-door ticket sales will be processed at the Welcome Center in the lobby.

VIP ticket holders will enter sanctuary @ 12:30pm. All other ticket holders enter @ 1pm. Everyone MUST wear wristband before entering sanctuary. VIP guests will pickup their gift bag at the lobby welcome center.

Ushers will be stationed at all entrances to sanctuary ensuring that everyone is wearing a wristband before entering. Ushers will also be assigned to VIP seating areas. Blue “Reserved” signs placed on first pews of VIP area, designating VIP seating and special pews for cast soloists, directors, and pastors on the front rows.

UTR Product Sales

UTR product sales will be setup at the Welcome Center booth.

UTR Venue Area Tour & Refresh

Scheduled from 12pm-1pm in lower level. Seniors and those with disabilities unable to use steps can sit in lobby area until doors open. Patrons arriving after 1pm can tour the UTR venue area following the performance.

Important that stage vocal moms ensure the lower level is kept intact throughout event.

Teardown, Cleanup & Setup

Immediately following event, we must clear the sanctuary to setup for Sunday service. Must move people to lobby or lower level as quickly as possible. The lower level will remain open for an additional hour following event.
